Another trip to Utah!

We took Bre to Sego Canyon today, since she didnt go with us last week, the weather today was 180 degrees different than the bright sunshine and mid 80's that we had last saturday. Today it was overcast and in the 40's in the canyon. With a brisk wind.

here is a picture of Breanna and the Anasazi pictographs
these pictographs are circa 8000BC-500AD. Its amazing to me that they have been on that rock wall for so long. I cant imagine what kind of dye that they used. As you can see, some idiots have tried to use them as target practice.
After the Sego canyon trip we went south towards Moab and visited Mill Canyon, where there are lots of dinosaur bones in the rock. We hiked up the canyon and it was amazing here are a few pictures of what we found.

The top picture is of several dinosaur bones in the rock. The above picture is the head of a femur from a dinosaur. You can see it is perfectly formed just like our femur bones.
This is one of my favorite pictures of the day, "Determination Towers" in Mill Canyon.
We saw lots of dinosaur bones, pictographs, petroglyphs and didnt get rained on! A great day in the desert!
